We know which forest the wood came from, and we will tell you.
Root & Grain was started by two joiners who were tired of building things designed to be thrown away. Everything we make uses FSC-certified Nigerian hardwood, hide glue and hardware that can be unscrewed. No particle board, no stapled joints, no finishes we would not want in a room with a child in it. It costs more to make and it lasts a great deal longer. We think that is the right way round.
